Another upbeat piece in today's Times...
Just another day in paradise. I got up at the crack of noon and maintained my new daily discipline of working out at the ill-equipped hotel gym. The Russian treadmill has thus far proved indecipherable. No matter which buttons I push I can't get it to operate. Although I'm dead set against it I guess I'll have to ask for directions tomorrow. But the hotel pool is really quite nice. And you don't need any lessons to avail yourself of it.
