The party's over

Tonight will be our last taste of freedom.  As the Opening Ceremonies approach, tomorrow begins the full twelve hours duty per day. For me that's 3 pm-3am.

Let's go already.  Our hotel has gradually filled with media people from all over.  Hung out at the bar with some BBC guys. My neighbors are some loudmouthed German broadcasters.  If that's not redundant.

All the athletes and NBC stars have been about lately, indicating showtime looms.

Going forward, each day checked off the calendar will mean even more.

Three weeks from today I will be home.  Hope the same goes for you.
